Happy Spring to one and all! Hoping everyone had a Blessed and Happy Easter and enjoyed being with family and friends.
Before you know it, we will be making plans and packing for our annual reunion this September. The reunion will be held September 15th — 19th. We have the Embassy Suites by Hilton reserved for this event. Sharon and I drove to Destin, FL in mid-March to check out the hotel and believe me, if I rated it, it definitely would be a 5-star plus! Take a moment to check it out if you so choose. It is Embassy Suites (Miramar Beach) in Destin, FL. The hotel is not on the beach but across the street from the beach, just a short walk.
We will be going to Eglin Air Force Base and Hurlburt Field for our Memorial at which time we will have an Honor Flag presentation. There are also two military museums, one being an armament and the other an aircraft museum to check out. Also, there is a variety of things to do in Destin, as there are several shopping areas, a Bass Pro Shop, very nice golf courses, several restaurants and the usual fun game things to do, for example, miniature golf. Count this as your vacation.

The site for the 2024 reunion is the Embassy Suites by Hilton Destin Miramar Beach. The reunion dates are Sunday, September 15, 2024 through Thursday, September 19, 2024. There are two ways to book your room. If you will be booking a room for Sunday through Thursday, you can use the link on our website (pleikuab.com) Go to Reunions and then select upcoming reunions. You will find the link to use to book your room. However, if you are planning on arriving prior to Sunday OR staying beyond Thursday, then you will must use this phone number to book your room 850-337-7000; select option #2. Room rate is $179 plus tax for either a two Room Suite-I King Bed-nonsmoking or a two Room Suite-2 Queen Beds-nonsmoking.
