 REUNION MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT

Spring has sprung! Hope everyone is enjoying the warmer weather and all the beautiful flowers and trees in bloom!

We have exciting news! Pigeon Forge, Tennessee is ready for all of us! The hotel we will be staying in is the Hilton Garden Inn at 2481 Teaster Lane, Pigeon Forge. To date, we have reserved fifteen rooms with King size beds and ten rooms with double Queen size beds. The room rate per night is $154.00 which includes the 12.25% tax. We can always add additional rooms, as needed. The hotel has included a breakfast buffet for our group as well. The rooms have refrigerators and microwaves.

Please know that this date, August 13, 2025 is the same cutoff date for our registration fee which is $150.00 per person.

As you may know, our reunion starts on Sunday and checkout is Thursday morning. This year's dates are Sunday, September 14 thru September 18. If you decide to come before the reunion officially starts or stay after the reunion, the room rate is $212.15 including tax ($189.00 before tax). I know that there is a variety of things to see and do. I have heard that some are already talking about staying a couple days after the reunion and going to Dollywood.

We are going to the Tennessee Air Force Museum in Sevierville, TN for our memorial service. After the memorial service we will have a family style lunch at the Apple Barn Cider Mill. There is lots to see and do there on the grounds as there are several shops to browse in.

The good news this year is that we will not have to rent a bus for transportation as the round trip from the hotel to lunch and back is 13 miles. So, we can cozy up and travel together in our cars.

In other news, the Board decided to have the membership meeting on Tuesday afternoon after we return from our lunch at 4:00 pm. The Ladies Auxiliary will meet at that time as well. This will free up Wednesday for sight-seeing. The banquet will be on Wednesday evening as usual. Please think about items you may want to bring and donate for our auction as this is a great money maker for the Association.
